Joan Bowlen
is a visual designer based in Los Angeles, California.
A jack-of-all-trades designer, Joan loves nothing more than problem-solving through visuals and well-thought-out marketing strategies.
For the last five years, she’s worked as a web designer, print designer, project coordinator and marketing manager for Vendini, an online event ticketing company based in the San Francisco/Bay Area of California. She’s also been a freelance designer for Bay Area organizations near-and-dear to her heart, including the San Francisco Gay Men’s Chorus, AIDS/Lifecycle and a number of small local businesses.
Graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Art History from the College of William & Mary and an Associate’s degree in Web/Interactive Design from the Art Institute of California–San Francisco, Joan is constantly striving for that delicious balance between creativity and practicality that makes for great design.
She thrives in collaborative environments, gets a kick out of creating organization and hierarchy out of chaos and will throw herself wholeheartedly into the job at hand.
